Pipelines
Like in any CRM, Quartz Pipelines represent a group of opportunities (or deals) .
Sub-Pipelines represent a sub part of a pipeline. See it more like a filtered set of opportunities.
Quartz automatically creates :
one 'master' pipeline for each sales process defined in your CRM. This master pipeline has an ID, and represents all opportunities your sales teams are working on.
multiple sub-pipelines to map sales team structure. So every team member is associated to a sub-pipeline representing its very own pipeline of opportunities.
Such a structure, enables everyone to access pipeline and sub-pipeline metrics by selecting a specific pipeline. All metrics related to pipelines and sub-pipelines can be found in Pipeline Metrics.
For each company account, Quartz will automatically create a master pipeline and a set of sub-pipelines .
e.g : for a company with 5 sales defined in the CRM.
Quartz will create :
1 pipeline for all opportunities in the CRM - equivalent to a master pipeline - and set a pipeline id (naming format: 'p-abcd-efgh-ijkl-mnop')
5 sub-pipelines : 1 per sales (also called members in Quartz) - equivalent to their own pipeline of opportunities and set a sub-pipeline id.
